Are you ready to move on to the new generation of watches that tick to the beat of the Universe? To wear this watch, you will have to break free from the most fundamental rule of time-reading — the clockwise movement of time. The new version of the model offers a different vibe, a more natural and warmer colour palette.

The dial of the Raketa ‘Russian Code – Meridian’ watch is a light beige, featuring raised indices and a 3D image of the Earth at its center, its surface divided by fine meridian lines. This is what gave the model  its full name, echoing the idea that time and space obey strict geometry. This design gave the model its full name, echoing the idea that time and space are governed by precise geometry. The placement of the Raketa logo is no coincidence: it sits directly above the territory of Russia on the globe's map. The stainless-steel case features a dual finish: polished and satin. The curved sapphire crystal creates a lens-like effect and a three-dimensional appearance. The brown genuine leather strap is adorned with contrasting blue stitching that echoes the ocean colours on the dial, adding to the model's coherent look.

What we commonly refer to as ‘the correct course of time’ is simply an optical illusion that  originated in the Northern Hemisphere several centuries ago. The universe works differently, though, as the Earth orbits the Sun counterclockwise.  You can see the movement operating at an irregular rhythm through the transparent case back of the watch. As this Raketa watch has a backward-action movement, its hands also move in the opposite direction due to the mirrored design of the movement’s main components. Raketa's engineers went beyond the simple modification of components: they designed and manufactured their mirrored counterparts. As a result, the entire system moves in the opposite direction in a coordinated way.
